About Crowned Mind Collective

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Because healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you were before life convinced you that you weren’t enough. You are still crowned.

Seeking support for your mental health can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. At Crowned Mind Collective, we believe everyone deserves a place where they can show up exactly as they are and be met with compassion, respect, and understanding.

Our goal is simple: to provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care in an environment where you feel heard—not rushed, judged, or dismissed. We know that no two people have the same story, which is why we take the time to understand your experiences, your concerns, and what healing looks like for you.

Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood changes, or simply feeling like life has become heavier than you can carry on your own, we’re here to walk alongside you. Treatment isn’t about changing who you are—it’s about helping you feel more like yourself again.

The name Crowned Mind Collective was created from the belief that every person deserves to reclaim their peace, confidence, and sense of self. Being “crowned” isn’t about having a perfect life. It’s about recognizing your worth, even in the middle of life’s challenges, and having the support to move forward with hope.

When you choose Crowned Mind Collective, you’re choosing a practice that values connection just as much as clinical excellence. We believe healing begins when people feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered enough to take the next step.

Meet Your Provider

Nicole Alexandria

MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Hi, I’m Nicole Alexandria. Long before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I spent years at the bedside as a registered nurse, caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. That experience taught me something I’ll never forget—every person has a story, and every story deserves to be heard with compassion.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be honest, ask questions, and take an active role in your care. I believe the best treatment begins with listening. Before we talk about medications or diagnoses, I want to understand who you are, what you’ve been carrying, and what healing looks like for you.

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and rooted in genuine connection. Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, or life’s unexpected challenges, we’ll work together to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and supports your overall well-being.

I know reaching out for help isn’t always easy, and I don’t take your trust lightly. My hope is that every person who leaves an appointment with me feels heard, respected, and encouraged—knowing they have a partner in their mental health journey.

I’m honored you’re here, and I look forward to walking alongside you.

How We Can Support You

Taking the first step isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to do it alone.

Whether you’re facing challenges you’ve carried for years or navigating a difficult season of life, we’re here to provide compassionate, personalized care every step of the way.

Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety?

When worry begins to interfere with your daily life, it can be difficult to find peace. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan to help you manage anxiety, reduce panic, and feel more in control.

Struggling to find joy again?

Depression can affect your energy, relationships, motivation, and outlook on life. Our goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through the day and begin feeling like yourself again.

Having trouble focusing or staying organized?

If staying on task, managing responsibilities, or keeping up with daily demands feels overwhelming, we’ll work together to evaluate whether ADHD or another condition may be contributing and develop a plan that supports your success.

Living with the effects of trauma?

Trauma can leave lasting emotional wounds that affect every area of life. We provide trauma-informed psychiatric care in a safe, supportive environment where healing can happen at your own pace.

Experiencing mood changes that feel difficult to manage?

Whether you’re dealing with mood swings, periods of depression, or changes in energy and motivation, we’ll work together to better understand what’s happening and create a treatment plan that supports long-term stability.

Looking for medication management you can trust?

Medication isn’t the focus of treatment—it’s one tool that may help support your mental wellness. We provide thoughtful medication management, regular follow-up, and collaborative care to ensure your treatment continues to meet your needs.

Need a place to start?

Every journey begins with a conversation. Your comprehensive psychiatric evaluation gives us the opportunity to understand your story, discuss your concerns, and create a personalized plan designed around your goals—not just your symptoms.

Care wherever you are

We offer secure telepsychiatry appointments throughout South Carolina, making it easier to access compassionate mental health care from the comfort and privacy of your home.

Our Approach

We believe the best care begins with listening.

Before creating a treatment plan, writing a prescription, or discussing a diagnosis, we take the time to understand you—your story, your experiences, your strengths, and the challenges that brought you here. We believe meaningful care starts with meaningful conversations.

Our approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Every treatment plan is personalized because no two people have the same story. Whether medication, lifestyle changes, therapy referrals, or a combination of approaches is the right fit, every decision is made together—not for you.

Healing isn’t always linear, and there is no one-size-fits-all path to mental wellness. Our goal isn’t simply to help you manage symptoms. It’s to help you build a life that feels healthier, more balanced, and more fulfilling.

In most cases, no. You can schedule an appointment directly without a referral. If your insurance requires one, we’ll let you know before your visit.

What can I expect during my first appointment?

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We’ll spend time getting to know you, discussing your concerns, reviewing your medical and mental health history, and talking about your goals. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that supports your needs and your vision for wellness.

Do you prescribe medication?

Yes, when it’s clinically appropriate. If medication is recommended, we’ll discuss your options, answer your questions, and make decisions together. Our goal is to find the treatment approach that best supports your overall well-being.

Do you provide therapy?

Crowned Mind Collective specializes in psychiatric evaluations and medication management. If therapy would be beneficial, we’re happy to provide trusted referrals and collaborate with your therapist as part of your care.

Are appointments offered virtually?

Yes. All appointments are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, allowing you to receive care from the comfort and privacy of your home anywhere in South Carolina.

What ages do you treat?

We provide psychiatric care for adolescents and adults. If you’re unsure whether our practice is the right fit for you or your loved one, we’re happy to answer your questions before scheduling.

Do you prescribe controlled medications?

Controlled medications are prescribed only when medically appropriate and after a thorough psychiatric evaluation. Every treatment decision is based on your individual needs, current clinical guidelines, and safe prescribing practices.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We accept several insurance plans and also offer self-pay options. If you have questions about your insurance coverage or benefits, we’ll gladly help you understand your options before your first appointment.

How often will I need follow-up appointments?

Follow-up appointments are personalized based on your treatment plan, medication needs, and progress. During your initial visit, we’ll recommend a schedule that best supports your care and adjust it as your needs change.
